Love Dressmaking courses offer a quality, hands on approach. Students will receive effective tuition with small class sizes in a friendly and creative environment. The skills learnt will last a lifetime, enabling you to make beautiful clothes year on year.
General Information
Unless otherwise stated you will need to provide your own patterns and fabrics for making your garments. Advice on this will be given on booking.
You are encouraged to bring your own sewing machine (especially if you are learning how to use it). It must be in good working order and if it is over 1 year old it will need to be PAT tested. This shouldn’t cost much. Please call for advice on how to do this if unsure. We do have some sewing machines available if you haven’t got one yet.
Refreshments are provided but if booking for a day course you will need to bring a packed lunch
Special Workshops
I can offer dressmaking courses or workshops for organisations and small groups. Content, location, dates and times can be arranged to suit. A great way to spend time with friends and to bring people together to enjoy making something special. Please contact Catherine to discuss options
